We are not able to send free product samples. However, we will be happy to provide samples of most of our smaller hardware items for the cost of the product plus a nominal $2 shipping fee. Samples are supplied under the following conditions:

• TOTAL COST: Product cost (or $2 minimum), plus $2 First Class Mail postage.

• LIMIT: One of any given hardware item; maximum three items per order.

• EXCLUDED: Any item too heavy or large to fit in a standard First Class mailer.

• PAYMENT: Prepayment by credit card only, either online or by telephone.

Example #1

Sample, HWR-5589, Flanger Hanger = $.95

Sample, HWR-5628, #8 Stainless Wire = $1.95

Sample Subtotal = $2.90

Shipping Fee = $2.00

Total Sample Order Cost = $4.90

 

Example #2

Sample, HWR-2320, Wide Rail Hook = $1.00

Sample Subtotal = $2.00 (minimum)

Shipping Fee = $2.00

Total Sample Order Cost = $4.00

If you want to order samples from us online you may do so. We will not charge your credit card the calculated shipping cost and Small Order Fee charge that will automatically appear in the shopping cart and on your email order confirmation. Since we charge customer credit cards when we ship, not when the order is placed, we can manually adjust the payment amount after we receive your sample order. For sample-only orders you will pay only the product cost (or $2 minimum) plus the $2 shipping fee. IMPORTANT: Be sure to place a note that you are ordering samples in the Special Instructions/Comments box on the shopping cart form.

If you fail to make this written request when you place a sample-only order online, standard shopping cart charges will apply.

You can also order hardware samples from us by telephone during our normal business hours (919-732-8364, Mon-Fri 10-5 EST) if you prefer.

Samples typically go out within 2-3 business days via USPS First Class Mail. If for some reason you need a sample with expedited shipping, call us. You will have to pay the full UPS or USPS expedited shipping charge incurred in such cases.

• Please do not use PayPal when ordering samples online (PayPal charges are debited at time of ordering which will then require us to partially refund your PayPal account to make the proper adjustment).

• The shipping charge for sample-only orders sent via USPS First Class Mail to addresses in Canada or Mexico is $5.00. Samples to other countries must go USPS Priority Mail.
